What is a “delivery” order?
A delivery order is an order for less than 10 people in which everyone is ordering individual entrees. Delivery may be arranged for your office, hotel, home or other location.

What is a “catering” order?
A catering order is any order for 10 or more people and over $100 where food is required to be served family or buffet style. Delivery may be arranged for your office, hotel, home or other location.

What is a “group” order?
A group order is a special function online that enables an organizer to send an invitation to a specific group of people for a set day and time from a specified restaurant. Once the invitation is viewed, the guests can make a selection from the menu and email it back to the organizer by a predetermined deadline. Once all the individual orders are received, the organizer then forwards the order to RestaurantsToGo. Delivery may be arranged for your office, hotel, home or other location.

What are your hours?
Office hours: Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 9pm
Saturday – Sunday: 4pm – 9pm
Delivery hours: Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 4pm – 9pm

*We are happy to deliver outside these hours when you provide day before notice.

*We appreciate advance notice to arrange your caterings and will happily reserve a specific delivery time and date for you in advance.

How long does it take to get a delivery?
If you order the day before, we will happily schedule delivery for the time you specify. When you order on the same day as the delivery, orders are generally delivered in around an hour, but this is subject to availability.

How much does it cost?
Delivery Fee: We charge a modest fee for the food delivery service we provide. Our minimum delivery fee per restaurant is $7.99 for non-catering orders to downtown Seattle, $10.99 for catering orders to downtown Seattle. Boxed Lunch deliveries are FREE when you order 10 or more with day before notice for deliveries to Downtown Seattle or Bellevue.

Fuel Surcharge: A fuel surcharge is added to the delivery fee of each order. This is passed on to the driver directly and helps them offset the high cost of fuel.

What is the minimum order? There is a $15.00 food/beverage minimum that applies to each restaurant you order from. Some restaurants have a higher minimum order; this will be shown in their specific menus if it is higher than $15.00. For delivery or non catering orders outside Seattle, the minimum will be increased. Please call us to find out the minimum order amount and fees to your event or area.

Can I repeat or duplicate an order? Yes. Select “place a reorder” once you have signed in. A history of your orders will display and you will then be able to choose the order you would like to duplicate.

How do I set up a standing or reoccurring order? Simply call us on 206-443-8646 ext 2 and talk to one of our friendly team to set up your reoccurring order.

What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, company checks, all major credit cards, corporate billing, and RTG gift certificates.

What kind of credit cards can I use? Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club.

Why does my credit card have to be present at the time of delivery? Our credit card processors require us to produce a signed imprint of your credit card anytime a charge is challenged. If we cannot produce a credit card slip the charge is reversed back to us. Subsequently we always ask for a credit card imprint and signature by the card holder.

Corporate Billing
Can you bill me on account? Yes. Many of our corporate customers find it more convenient to have us bill them once a month for the orders they place with us. Click here to download our corporate charge account application..
What is a corporate charge account? An account held with RTG that you can utilize when placing an order from any of our member restaurants.
When do you bill? At the beginning of the month you will receive a statement that lists all of the orders you placed together with the date and amount. Additionally, there will be copies of each invoice applicable.
What are your payment terms? Our terms are net 30 and we accept company checks and all major credit cards for payment.
Can one company hold multiple accounts? Yes. If you need us to set up an account for each department that is ordering we can do that.

Delivery areas
What areas do you deliver to? We welcome catering orders for the Greater Puget Sound area including Seattle, Edmonds, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Arlington, Everett, Federal Way, Tacoma, Olympia, SeaTac and more. Individual delivery orders under $100 are offered from the North end of Boeing Field North to 205th and water to water.

Can you deliver “off-site”?
As long as the area we are delivering to is inside the Greater Puget Sound area, we will happily make the necessary arrangements to have your food delivered on time and ready to eat.

Gratuities
Do I have to tip the mobile waiter/driver? No. All gratuities paid are voluntary. A gratuity comparable to what you would offer at a restaurant is customary. The recommended and suggested gratuity that appears on orders over $100 is only a suggestion. This amount may be charged based on the quality of the delivery service rendered at your discretion.

Who gets the gratuity? 94% of the reported gratuity goes to the driver, 6% goes to the office staff.

Tell me about your Green Policy
We plant a tree for every order placed – In an ongoing effort to make the world a better place, RestaurantsToGo has teamed up with Plant-Trees.org to make a difference - one tree at a time. Every time you place an order (no matter the size) RestaurantsToGo will plant a tree in a developing country. Additionally, if you recycle one of our serving platters by returning it to our driver on your next delivery, we will plant another tree for each platter!

We Use Remanufactured Ink and Toner Cartridges – These are purchased and used in all our printers. Each reused cartridge keeps approximately 2.5 pounds of metal and plastic out of landfills. The remanufacturing of one cartridge conserves about a 1/2 gallon of oil.

Digital Storage – All our company information is digitally stored to cut down on paper usage.

We use paper with 20% post consumer materials in our copiers and printers.

Office Recycling Program - At RestaurantsToGo, we recycle plastic and glass bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard, computers and cell phones. We believe that a large portion of materials sent to landfills from most offices can easily be reused or recycled.

Green cleaning products are used in all cleaning and sanitizing processes.

Transportation - RestaurantsToGo's staff are encouraged to carpool, use public transportation or purchase fuel efficient vehicles. Currently, over half our office employees either carpool or use public transport commuting to and from work. In addition, many of the RestaurantsToGo staff have ZipCar (“formerly Flexcar”) memberships.

Service Ware - Our plates are recyclable and our serving utensils are reusable. Ceramic plates, chaffing dishes and other non-disposable catering ware are also available upon request.

We also take advantage of natural daylight rather than excessive use of electricity for office lighting purposes - artificial lighting uses a large amount of electricity. At RestaurantsToGo, we have our workstations positioned towards windows to help cut down electricity and always turn lights out when they aren't needed -- saving money and the environment.

Lights are turned off when leaving offices - One 100 watt light bulb left on for one hour every day consumes 36.5 kilowatt hours of energy per year. Multiply that by the millions of lights left on every day, and it's obvious that a simple way to reduce energy dependency is to simply turn lights off when they are not needed!

How much notice do I need to provide for an order with 10 or more people?
Day before notice (or more) is always appreciated and recommended so that we can meet your time specifications.

Can I order with same day or short notice?
We happily accept all your orders and always do everything we can to accommodate your requirements. Orders placed with day before or advanced notice hold a priority for us, so same day and short notice orders are subject to availability. We recommend calling us to check whether your time deadlines for delivery are possible.

How do I know you have received my online order? Once the order is received we call within 5-10 minutes to confirm your address for delivery and the order itself.

How do I change my order once it is placed?
Simply call us at 206-443-8646 ext 2 and talk to one of our friendly team members to change your order.

How do I cancel an order I have already placed?
Simply call us at 206-443-8646 ext 2 and talk to one of our friendly team members. As long as the restaurant has not started preparation of your order we can cancel the order with no charge to you. Unfortunately, if the restaurant has already started to make your order we will not be able to cancel it.
